July 18, 2022 Update:
The POA annual meeting was held on June 21, 2022. The following officers were elected for the year of July 2022 to June 2023:
Aaron Fenton- President
Jared Greer- Vice President
Jared Greer- Sec/Treasurer
Annual assessements for the year of July 2022 to June 2023 were increased from $35.00 per year to $60.00 per year. POA dues had been kept low for the past several years due to a surplus of funds the POA had because of a large collection of past due POA dues the POA had collected. The POA has been able to operate at a loss each year, charging owners a lesser amount of dues than what had previosly been collected, however, that surplus has now been spent, and the POA must return to dues in line with actual operating costs of the POA. Invoices will be sent to owners before August of 2022.
July 15, 2021: The POA has become aware that some owners with adjoining roofs and hail damage have not repaired their roofs, and some owners are having difficulty contacting adjoining owners in order to coordinate those repairs. Please be aware that the City of Fayetteville now requires Landlords owning more than 2 residential rental properties to register with the City, by providing contact information, etc. for each property they own. https://www.fayetteville-ar.gov/3984/Landlords-Representative-Registry This is a helpful resource in finding out who owns adjoining properties. However, for those who have not registered because they do not meet the requirements needed to register, please contact the POA and provide us with your name, address, telephone number, and email address so that we can assist other owners in contacting adjoining property owners for these purposes. You may email us at [email protected].
HAIL DAMAGE NOTICE: JUNE 10, 2020. Due to recent hail damage in the neighborhood, the POA has received many calls about how owners should go about replacing their roofs. Please be advised that each owner owns, and is responsible for replacing, their own roof, and the POA has no responsibility to maintain any portion of any owner's roof. We understand there are many owners who have adjoining roofs. The POA recommends contacting your neighbors prior to replacing your roof, and that all owners sharing a roofline should organize with their insurance companies and repair companies to make sure the roof color being replaced will match your adjoining owners' roof color. If your insurance company needs to see a copy of the POA's insurance policy, which covers the POA common areas (grassy detention ponds) to verify the POA does not insure your roof, please feel free to contact us at [email protected] to request a copy.
